Film titled "ADOX SCALA 50 ". The result in dr5 is 'satisfactory'..dmax@ 3.20. It's tonal range in dr5 is 3.5~4 contrast grade.
This is a very contrasty COPEX film, previously known as HR-50. While it will produce decent B&W slides, there are several other sharp films for dr5 that produce a much superior result [see RPX-25 or PAN-f].
Ei range 10~50. Normal dr5 iso is 20 or lower. While this film will run at 50iso, the dynamic range is very high. DMAX at 50iso is around 2.80. This film is much better at 12 to 20 iso. You should avoid contrasty scenes with this film. Other than these issues the film is a good performer for someone needing a high dynamic slide. We would recommend the NEW ADOX home kit for this film. The kit is optimised for this film.
